Spring Swim

I suppose Mother Nature is making it up to us for all that dreadful snow back in February. With highs in the upper 80s these last few days, we have to keep checking the calendar to remind ourselves that it really is only April.

The very first utterance out of Lily's mouth today--before the usual "good morning!" or "what's for breakfast?"-- was, "Mommy, I want to go swimming today!" And so we did! Lily had her bathing suit on and was out the door and into the back yard before 9 am.

She had so much fun she spent nearly every waking hour today outside and in her pool. At one point, she seemed to be having entirely too much fun dunking only her rear-end in the water. When Daddy asked what she was doing, she replied, "I'm fishing!"
