Daddy Makes the Best Bubble Baths!

Over the summer Lily got more than her share of skinned knees as she was perfecting her newly acquired walking skills on the sidewalks of Lancaster. She quickly came to find that bubble baths made her 'boo-boos' feel better. Much better! It soon became a ritual every night while getting ready for her bath for Lily to point out her various wounds and to loudly and agitatedly proclaim, "boo-boo, boo-boo!". This was always followed by the sweetest, softest little angle voice saying "bubble, bubble." Now the boo-boos are all long gone, but delicate patches of pink skin remain to remind Lily of where her boo-boos once were. And so, each night as we're drawing her bath, she still points out the location of each of the former battle wounds with something approaching indignation, but always follows with a sweet call for "bubble, bubble."

So we give her bubbles. Lots of bubbles!
