Indian Summer
Despite what the calendar says, it's still summer here in Pennsylvania. With highs once again in the upper 80s, we headed out today to enjoy the last of the Indian summer sun.
Our first stop was Musser Park:

Lily tries out the swings.

Lily and Dad check out the cool new playground equipment.

Lily enjoys a little shade beneath an enormous old tree at the park.

She managed to find a few fall leaves to play with.
Then it was off to the coffee shop:

Lily snacks on her new favorite food: Cheerios!

Lily shares a Cheerio with Mom. Yum!

The girl has also developed a fondness for the creamy delicious foam on top of Mom's latte.

M-O-R-E, Mommy!!!
And because it really will turn cold eventually, this weekend Mom took a break from studying and started knitting a winter hat for Lily:

The girl patiently models the hat while Mom checks the size.

A happy customer!

Oh I love the grin Lily is sporting in her new winter hat! It looks like you guys had a great weekend, enjoying the warmer weather. Did Lily enjoy the swing? I used to call Cheerios the "magic pill" that Maddie was obsessed with...of course, she's sitting with Daddy eating some right now for breakfast with her yogurt!
