Didibukahhh
Didi-buk-ahhh
Did you catch that? Here, let me try it again: Didi-buk-ahhh. Still not getting it? Why, it's Lily's first subject-verb-object sentence, of course!
'Lily sit on the book.'
Didi = Lily
Buk = book
Ahhh = sit
Our girl has a peculiar sense of humor when it comes to language. She'd much rather make up her own words for those things which would be just as easy to say the right way. In this case, ahhhh means 'to sit' in Lily's little world. And just where did she come up with that, you ask? Well, with two older parents I suppose it's hard not to notice that we say 'ahhhh' every time we lower our weary backsides into a chair. Makes perfect sense, don't you think?
And why was Lily sitting on a book? Well, that's a whole other story--something about a little girl who suddenly decided she was too grown up for her high chair and decided to 'ahhhhh' at the kitchen table with Mommy and Daddy for dinner last night. With no booster seat in sight, an old phone book seemed the next best thing. And there you have it. Didi-buk-ahhh.

"subject-object-verb" I suppose. The most common type, globally, but not in Indo-European.
