Fed Up

Breastfeeding was going so beautifully. Dare I say perfectly. For the first two weeks, at least. But somehow, during the course of the last week, we've had a serious meltdown. What seemed like a small glitch in the process suddenly turned into the end of the world, for a three-week-old, anyway. Now, much of the time, Lily refuses entirely to latch on. Choosing instead to scream when a meal is offered up, despite her obvious hunger. We've gotten some professional advice and are working to put things to right. But oh, gods help us until we get this thing worked out.
