Nighttime...

... is the hardest time. With no set sleep pattern, and a newly developed propensity toward inconsolable fussiness after the sun goes down, the nights have been long lately. Very long. Lily nurses constantly. I figure it took a good twelve hours for me to get four hours of real sleep last night.

They tell me it gets better. When it finally does, I wonder if I'll be awake long enough to enjoy it?
